A POEM'S LAST LINES

Yvette Nachmias-Baeu
April 28, 2016

Ran across this poem and loved the last lines.
Afterword
BY KATE WALDMAN

Death is a lack, I suppose,
and love more so. One day
(it hurts to think of it),
we may not know each other’s faces.
But I will not falter.
I will drive here alone,
release you into air.

Life in the first person:

Writing is what I do these days to help bridge the gap between life as it is being lived, life as it might be lived and death as it becomes part of us.  In  A Reluctant Life I speak about grief  as I personally experienced it.  In  Clara at Sixty I created a character who jumped off the pages of A Reluctant Life and told her own story  What I will write about next is unclear to me.  It has all been written-- but everyone of us has a story that creates life in our own special way. Whatever nuggets I discover will be the seed of the next adventure.

This blog will be a continuation of what interests me. But it will hopefully it will include our collective stories. While I might share the wisdoms written before we were born, practices that may apply, destiny still to be reached I would hope that you will share your own take on life, hee on these pages.

Subscribe and tell us what you have discovered.
